Mario's Mother & 2 sister's (Karla & Silvia) came from Mexico and Mario's Father came from war torn Italy. They were introduced by her Mother. Mario Sr. followed his big sister Maria to the United States Of America, from Italy, landing first in Buffalo, New York, buying a 1968 Dodge Charger and driving to California, where Maria and husband Otto were already residents of Palm Desert. There they opened Marinello's Family Italian Restaurant, one of only 2 Italian Restaurants in the entire Coachella Valley in this period of time. Mario was born on September 26th, 1981 to Mario Jo Carpino (Sr.) & Silvia Saucedo at Desert Regional Hospital in Palm Springs, California. He lived, was baptized, went to school & grew up working at the family restaurant in Palm Desert, California. After graduating from Palm Desert High School, Mario went on to serve in the United States Air Force where he was a mechanic on jet motors. He was in an accident while on a group drill that resulted in an injury that would prevent Mario to continue on in military life. Mario was honorably discharged from the US Air Force and returned home where he was able to spend the last year and a half with his Dad before passing away in January 2002. Mario continued with the family restaurant until it was sold years later. Mario continued on working at such restaurants as Sabantino's in Rancho Mirage, and at hotels such as the Saguaro Hotel in Palm Springs. And in 2012 he met and fell in love with Carrie Perdock for 8 years until in untimely death on October 20th, 2020. Mario was a great friend, brother, son, Dad & step-Dad and fiance. He is loved by many and will be missed very much by those as well, especially for his closest friends & family.
