She was my great aunt and one of the sweetest people you could meet. She ran a small country store that belonged to her deceased sister. During the summer time she would let everybody in the community use the land behind the store as a ballfield where everyone would play ball games and gave picnics. This was every Saturday and Sunday after church. She would make pitchers of homemade lemonade and served it ice cold.

She lived in Heath Springs, SC. She was my father's mother (Henry Lewis). She was mixed, Caucasian & Cherokee Indian. Me and my sister lived with her and her youngest child/son (Frank Lewis) for a little while. We later moved on with other relatives (mother passed after having my youngest brother) but we would go back to visit. Everytime I visited she would make me a 3 layer coconut cake. Best cake in the world.
