Michele Nikki (Maynard) Hustis of Los Angeles, California United States was born on February 3, 1950 in Los Angeles. Michele Hustis was married to Kurt Hustis in Las Vegas, Clark County, Nevada, and died at age 43 years old on July 13, 1993 in Burbank, CA.
Kurt was a master carpenter doing everything from framing to finish carpentry for over 30 years. He was considered one of the best and did all the case, base and crown molding in our current home. He was also a skilled landscaper working for many years with J.E Design Associates (Jim Evans) designing and constructing some of the most unique and beautiful landscapes in all of Eagle Rock, CA and surrounding areas.

On October 15, 2023 at 04:26 PM we lost a best friend, caring, loving, funny and above all the best little brother in the whole wide world Kurt Warren Hustis.
My brother Kurt was an amazingly talented finish carpenter and landscaper producing some of the most amazing creations you could imagine. We are very fortunate to have had Kurt's work throughout our home that we seriously brag about and will live on for many, many years. After all the main remodeling was done, Kurt just kept coming back to continue detailing and apply many of his other talents such as painting, plumbing and patch work.

Rosemary (Owens) Hustis of 2709 Dicturn St, in Los Angeles, California United States was born on November 28, 1928 in Ray, AZ. She was married to William Hustis, JR on October 9, 1946 at Los Angeles County Court House. in Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California, and had children Roseanne Booth, James Hustis, and Kurt Hustis. Rosemary Hustis died at age 82 years old on January 20, 2011 at Verdugo Hills Hospital 1812 Verdugo Blvd, in Glendale.
This is my mother Rosemary. She was born in the town of Ray Arizona. Her mother was Rosa "Rose" Valenzuela and her father was William "Bill" Owens. She had four older siblings the oldest being Constance Avenenti. Three of her older siblings passed away from various illnesses. A short time after her father passed away (Mom was 6 yrs old) they moved to Los Angeles, CA where her mother got a job as a seamstress. My mother attended catholic school and later went onto college where she met my father William Hustis Jr. Together they had four children, Roseanne, William "Bill" 3rd, James "Jim" and Kurt. My mother was a extremely talented artist painting canvas, clothing and even motor cycles. She loved to draw and or sketch just about everything. I have hanging on the walls of my home air brushed neck ties she made along with some oil paintings. Being an avid reader, she loved mystery novels and suspense. One of her favorite authors was Steven King and she also read Edgar Cayce. In January 1998 she suffered a aneurysm for which she never fully recovered. My mother was a great lady and friend and she is dearly missed but she is now with my dad where she belongs.
