I was a student of Dr. Ryska’s who was an inspiring teacher with elegant and profound thoughts on the subject of Art History. He taught in a multidisciplinary fashion and his students still today, quote his brilliant lectures. He was a kind man and had a great sense of humor. He is missed by many.
