About me:
I am a wife and mother. I love gardening (esp fruit and vegetable), cooking and canning, normal everyday housework (crazy, I know!) and I am a dogged and determined genealogy buff. I enjoy the hunt, but more than that, I truly enjoy learning more about my family tree, the people in it and the history behind it. (And yes, I am a huge history buff as well!)
About my family:
I am a proud trucker's wife, been married almost 30 years. We have a daughter and son in law which are the loves of our lives. We are at the phase of life where we (ok, mostly I-not his fault, he is on the road) are taking care of both mothers.

My mom's side of the family is Swedish (and still lives in Sweden) and she instilled in me lots of Swedish heritage and traditions which has made me who I am today. My dad's side of the family is German and Irish and the most likely the side of the family I get all my freckles from. Family is so important, and welcome everyone to discover more about them, their history, and share about their loved ones who make up the history of who we are!

She had siblings Macajah Becton, Samuel Slade Becton, Lewis Becton, Sarah (Becton) Dillahunty, Asa Becton, Nancy (Becton) Hodges, and Sydney (Becton) Caldwell.
