Billy Joe Stubbs Jr. was born to William "Bill" J. Stubbs Sr. (1905 - 1957) and Cecil Georgia Ford (1907 - 1989). Both of his parents were born in Texas. Billy Stubbs Jr. married Geraldine Hudson in Collin County, Texas in 1945. They divorced on July 3, 1986 in Collin County, Texas. When they divorced, they stated that they didn't have children. One grown daughter… married to Antony Ferren had two boys. Shane and Toby Ferren.

Billy Joe as he liked to be called by his full name. He loved people and made friends with everyone… And remained friends forever. He remember friends from school and the army and passed residence. He was a great Deer hunter. And loved being with his friends hunting at Deer season. Loved to dance which he loved going to Archie Blue, in Bandera, Texas which was the town he had Hunting lease at.. He never met someone that he would not be friends with forever. BEST FRIEND EVER he loved every one……. Miss you, Billy Joe!

Billy Joe was a man that liked every single person. There was not any one that didn’t like him…… Hard worker and was the can of person to help us out if you needed help. Loved to Hunt Deer. But most of all it was the love of being with friends (visiting/partying) That he loved. And would help you if you were down with out asking questions. Very kind and loving person… didn’t have a single enemy…..
