Born February 23, 1939, in Beaver Falls, he was the son of the late Robert M. Sr. and Juanita Hargett Daugherty. He had been self-employed and enjoyed playing pool on several teams in the area. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Robert M. Daugherty III; a grandson, James E. Daugherty, Jr. and a niece, Terri Swagger. He is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, James E. Sr. and Lisa Daugherty, Bill and Tam Daugherty and Doug Daugherty, all of South Beaver Township; seven grandchildren, Mandy Wood and her husband, Lee, Brandi Roman and her husband, Chris, Lea Daugherty, Dakota Daugherty, Kristina Daugherty, Julie Daugherty and Bryce Daugherty and five great-grandchildren. There will be no public visitation. Interment will be private.
