Wiley Bridges Green was the son of Isaiah Green and Sarah Melton. He was born on October 5, 1835 and had siblings including Arminta M Green (1833-), Edward Hamilton Green (1833-1915), Sarah Ann Green (1840-1880), James G Green (1840-1886), Martha Jane Green (1841-1924), Henry C Green (1845-), Mary Elizabeth Green (1847-1886), and Isaiah F Green (1859-). He was married to Maggie Virginia Curran November 8, 1860 and they produced five children. The first, Wiley B. Greene Jr. who died at one year of age. He was followed by James, Albert Charles Horace Greene, Robert Russel Greene and Ruby Greene. Part of this is true, but according to our records, there was no ‘e’ on the end of Green at this time. I do show sons James C, Frank Ellis, Horace A, and Robert R… then a daughter in 1875 named Ruby M. WB also had illegitimate sons Henry Lee (my grandfather) and Edward Hamilton before marrying their young mother, Hallie C Shelton in 1902. I’m guessing right after Maggie passed away. He was a physician, surgeon, and doctor of medicine. Wiley worked in the Confederate Army and served in the Army during the U.S. Civil War. Dr Wiley Bridges Green passed away on February 15, 1914 in Stone County, Missouri.
