Donald Clifton had siblings David Dean Clifton, Nancy Jean Clifton Harris, Richard Neil Clifton, and Janet Mary Clifton. He married Lynne Elaine Condon on December 1, 2006 in Chico, Wise County, TX, and they were married until death separated them on June 15, 2010 in Chico. He also married Brenda Lanier Geiger, and they had a child Cameron Dale Clifton. Donald Clifton died at age 58 years old on June 15, 2010 in Chico, Wise County, TX, and was buried on June 18, 2010 at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery Mountain Creek Pkwy, in Dallas.

    DONALD CAMERON (“Donnie“, “DC“, “Kicking Bull“) CLIFTON CHICO - Donald Cameron Clifton, 58, passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at home, after a short battle with cancer. Born in Detroit, Michigan, on March 15, 1952, Donnie got to Texas as quick as he could. He loved life, people, and all that nature had to offer. From fishing the lakes & reservoirs of Texas, to hunting snakes and snaring coyotes; from shooting contests in the yard to drinking beer with his friends; from pulling practical jokes to telling tall tales, Donnie’s sense of humor and zest for life touched everyone he encountered. He gave 100% at every job he performed, regardless of extreme weather conditions and possible injury to himself. For 35 years, he worked as an OTR Tire man on heavy equipment. He also ran a tire business from his home, worked at Austin Powder, and drove a truck for Sandy Hill Redi-Mix. Donnie was a proud American, volunteering for the US Army at the age of 17, and serving in the 1st Cavalry Division during the Vietnam War. He was a lifetime member of the VFW, and served as Vice Commander at the former Chico VFW. Donnie was devoted to his wife, Lynne, and was extremely proud of his son, Cameron. In his last months of his life, he enjoyed the simple pleasures of friends, family and nature. Donnie was preceded in death by his brother, David Dean Clifton, and his faithful dog, Lucy. He is survived by his wife, Lynne Condon Clifton; son, Cameron Dale Clifton; parents, Helen and E.G. (Ted) Clifton; brother, Richard Clifton; sister, Nancy Harris and husband Jody, sister Janet Clifton; mother and father-in-law Robert and Dorothy Condon, brother-in-law Brian Condon, sister-in-law Carol Riley, several nieces and nephews; and more friends than can be counted. His spirit will live on in the hearts and memories of all. A memorial service will be held at North Side Church of Christ in Chico at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 19, 2010. Graveside service was held on June 18, 2010 at DFW National Cemetery. Donations may be made to the North Texas Honor Guard of Decatur, or the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund. Jones Family Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
