    Eugene Rice traveled on the Titanic with his mother and 4 older brothers. After the collison and during the time when women and children boarded the lifeboats, crewmen gave orders that husbands and older sons couldn't board. Margaret Rice refused to be parted from either of her sons. The family was last seen clinging to the stern when the Titanic was sinking. Eugene's body was never recovered. He was also mistaken as the unknown child.

Eugene boarded titanic as 3rd class with his parents and brothers Albert (10) George (8) Eric (7) Arthur (4) on April 11, 1912. On April 14, 1912 the ship struck an iceberg in North Atlantic Ocean at 11:45 pm and sank by splitting in two at 2:20 am. The family perished in the sinking.

When did they first mistaken Eugene Rice was the unknown child ? My guess would be 2006.
