Randolph "Old Randall" Mccoy 1825 - 1914

Randolph McCoy of Pikeville, Pike County, Kentucky USA was born on October 30, 1825 in Pike Co to Daniel McCoy and Margaret Taylor. He had a brother Asa Harmon Mccoy. He married Sarah "Sally" McCoy, and had children Josephine McCoy, James H. McCoy, John Tolbert McCoy, Lilburn Mccoy, Samuel McCoy, Alafair McCoy, Rosana Mccoy, Calvin Mccoy, Pharmer McCoy, Randolph Bud McCoy Jr, William Bill Mccoy, Twinville (Mccoy), Adelaide Mccoy, Fannie Mccoy, and Floyd McCoy. Randolph McCoy died at age 88 years old on March 28, 1914 in Pikeville, and was buried on March 29, 1914 at Dils Cemetery in Pikeville.

    Randolph was born October 30, 1825 to Margaret (Taylor) and Daniel McCoy in Pikeville Kentucky. He had 12 siblings inclus Asa Harmon Mccoy. Randolph and Sarah McCoy married in the year 1849 and had 16 children together, some that lived and others that sadly did not survive. The children include: Josephine McCoy (1848-?), James "Jim" McCoy (1850-1929), Floyd McCoy (1852-1928), Tolbert McCoy (1853-1882), Lilburn McCoy (1854-?), Samuel II McCoy (1856-1921), an infant girl who did not survive (1857-1857), Alifair McCoy (1858-1888), Roseanna McCoy (1859-1889), Calvin McCoy (1862-1888), Pharmer McCoy (1863-1882), Randolph "Bud" McCoy (1864-1882), William "Bill" McCoy (1866-?), Trinvilla "Trinnie" McCoy (1868-1921), Adelaide McCoy (1870-1898), Fannie McCoy (1873-1943).

Randolph McCoy, my great great Uncle: My biological father is/was Garcie Charles McCoy and his Father was Garcie McCoy my grandpas father was the late Leland McCoy and mother Elisa McCoy(I do believe was her name) and Leland McCoy was the great great grandson of Randolph "Old Randall" McCoy so that would make Randolph McCoy my great great Uncle if I've got that right relationship wise that is. If I've got relationship connection mixed up please let me know so it can be fixed. Thank you. My name is Carrie Grace McCoy and have a younger brother who was named after my grandpas father Leland my brother is Leland Jacob McCoy. I just wanted to say that I'm very proud to have the last name McCoy and even when I was adopted at 16yr old I never and will never get rid of my last name it is who I am and what's apart of my past and present its s part of our history and I own and wear it well. - Carrie Grace McCoy
