Sarah was tried and convicted of killing her new born baby.Sentenced to hang she won a reprieve just in time and was sent to Van Diemans Land on the convict ship "Sir Robert Seppings" in 1852. Sarah married James Blowfield,in Hobart 1853. MARRIAGES. BLOWFIELD-MASON-On the 9th January, by the Rev. J. W. Simmons, at his residence, 162 Macquarie street, by licence, Mr. James Blowfield, boot maker, formerly of H. M. Coldstream Regiment of Foot Guards, to Sarah Annie Mason, third daughter of Mr. Samuel Mason, Richmond, both of this city.
