...I found yet another wonderful old picture... and using the "magic" of the scanner, was able to read the pencil writing on the back... just from dates I have and the picture, I am estimating when it was taken... these are the Brown children... Sanford, Olivia, Georgie and Victor...their father was Oliver Brown, born March 31, 1866 in Sequine, Guadalupe County, Texas... ...their mother was Margaret Ella McLeod born in 1869...they were married sometime in December of of 1887 in Sutherland Springs, Texas... Margaret Ella McLeod is the daughter of Leroy McLeod and Amelia Ann Francis... Margaret had nine brothers and sisters... you can tell that "mom" had dressed them in their "Sunday best" and they were some proud parents... those were the days, indeed, my friend... those were the days...
