A. Philip Randolph Civil Rights Leader
A. Philip Randolph was a leader in the civil rights movement for African-Americans and the American labor movement. He led the March on Washington Movement, which convinced President Roosevelt to desegregate production plants for military supplies during World War II. He was also the head of the March on Washington in 1963.
