Alamo Women's Club Apron Bee
Bethel Van Tassel, Ethel Dolan, Idelle Russell Fiedler, and Gertie Biggs. Idelle was an old friend of mine from High School who moved to Walnut Creek. We were making aprons for a fund raiser at the Mt Diablo Country Club. The newspaper used a different photo because in those days it was not the policy to show a woman's legs. So they censored my legs!
