Ancel Earp Jr. was the son of Ancel and Lillian Tidnam Earp. He was born on February 15, 1923 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was a graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy and the Univerity of Oklahoma Medical School. He was a General Surgeon and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. In 1964, he moved his family, wife: Marian Johnson, and children Frances Lee and Ancel Tidnam, to Fairbanks, Alaska. Until his retirement in 1988, he was associated with the Tannana Valley Medical and Surgical Clinic. After retirement, he and Marian moved back to the family home in Oklahoma City. He was a member of the Anglican Church of the Holy Cross. Ancel Earp Jr. died on June 5, 2003. He is missed.
