Anton Sime Bacich (Born January 25, 1913 Kukljica, Yugoslavia (Now Croatia)to July 16, 1980, buried Fremont, CA.) Married Verna Frances Caccamo (Born January 1, 1921 to September 23, 1993 buried Fremont, CA) on May 16, 1946.

Anton became an United States Citizen June 28, 1951 In Santa Clara County, CA. He served in the Yugoslavian, Swedish, and US Merchant Marines between approx. 1937 and 1952. He then made a career as a hod carried and learned the brick-laying craft. He worked side jobs building BBQs, fireplaces, walkways, brick plantars, etc. He could build almost anthing out of brick or wood!

Verna was born in San Jose, CA, worked in the canneries in Santa Clara County as a cutter, and had a passion for reading. Their children are: Frances Elizabeth 1947, Linda Ann 1950, and Samuel Thomas 1957.
