According to census records (1870, 1880 & 1900) he & his wife Mary J Farrar (1843 Virginia - 1935 Iowa) lived in Jeffeson Missouri for 30 years at least. He was the brother of Phoebe R Buffington /Woodyard 1832 Ohio - 1924 MO (my ggg grandmother). That makes Them my gggg Uncle & Aunt!
