This photo was taken in 1862 while the 18th Texas Calvary was at the Arkansas Post. He sent a copy to his wife in grapevine,Tx. He was captured not to long after picture was taken. This picture is in the family collection of John Clayton, Capt William Morgan Allison's 3rd Great-Grandson. My name is Ric Davis, Capt W.M.Allison 3rd Great Nephew and I have posted this picture on this sight for the family.
