Charles William Lambert, Meigs Co, Ohio
This is my husband's grandfather, Charles Wm Lambert, nicknamed "Charlie". He was born in Mason Co, WV Oct 16 1886 to Andrew Jackson Lambert, Sr & Sarah Elizabeth Pritchard. Charlie married Grace Belle McGraw in Meigs Co, Ohio in 1909 and they had 14 children! Charlie was a fiddle player - lots of family and friends would come to their house in Meigs Co to hear him play on weekends, and I'm told the local radio station would bring their broadcast equipment there and broadcast these performances throughout the county. He played in a make-shift band with other friends and some other family members. He died Aug 25 1969 in Westerville, Franklin Co, Ohio and is buried there with his wife, Grace. If you have any further information on Charlie Lambert, please contact me!
Date & Place: at LAMBERT in Meigs Co, Ohio United States

Both Father and Mother's families are from eastern Kentucky - Johnson, Floyd, and Magoffin Counties mostly. We live in Ohio now, but still have a few hundred cousins in Kentucky!
