The five Clark sisters - the grandmother and aunts of the photographer, Frances Benjamin Johnston who was one of the earliest female photojournalists and photographers. George Eastman (Kodak Cameras)gave her her first camera. Her family had political connections and she became the official White House photographer for the Harrison, Cleveland, McKinley, "TR" Roosevelt, and Taft presidential administrations.
