Corporal Ellis Dean FULLER, 645 Aero Squadron AEF
Ellis Dean FULLER was born 18 April 1897 in Monett, McDonald County, Missouri, a son of Willam Thompson FULLER and Lillie HOLMAN. In 1917, he enlisted in the U.S. Army, served in France, and was discharged from the 645th Aero Squadron (Supply) as a corporal in 1919. He wed Nancy Ouida HARRIS in Muskogee, Oklahoma in 1921, and then Myra SMITH in Durant, Oklahoma in 1929. His careers included service as a deputy U.S. marshal in Muskogee and as a chief deputy sheriff in Lamar County, Texas. He had been a member of the Masonic lodge in Paris, Texas, and volunteered as a scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts of America for several years. He died 1 April 1978 and is buried beside his wife Myra SMITH in Antioch Cemetery, Biardstown, Lamar County, Texas. A roster of his World War I unit is on line at

He had siblings Jennie Lyall (Fuller), William Charles Fuller, Frank Earl Fuller, Howard Holman Fuller, Ruth Frances Nubemyer, and Myrta Veda White Shiver. He married Myra Smith Fuller on October 13, 1929 in Durant, Bryan County, Oklahoma, and had a child Bill Fuller. Ellis Fuller died at age 80 years old on April 1, 1978 in Paris, Lamar County, TX, and was buried at Antioch Cemetery in Biardstown.
