Daisy Harriman, Suffragette & Ambassador to Norway
Florence Jaffray "Daisy" Harriman, a leading suffragette who was appointed as Ambassador to Norway in 1937 by President Roosevelt. She is picture just after being appointed Ambassador with her favorite pets - "Kim," a German shepard, and "Bart," a cocker spaniel.
