Daniel Stephen Carl & His Wife, Bertha M. Ashworth
Daniel married Bertha on 27 Feb 1909 and they settled down in Meigs County, Ohio where they had a farm. They had no children. Daniel died 4 May 1951 and Bertha on 3 Jan 1963. They are both buried at the Wells Cemetery in Downington, Scipio Twp, Meigs Co, Ohio. A relative remembers that when he was a child and the family was on its way to Meigs County, he remembers passing Daniel and Bertha on the road; Daniel was sitting in the car, and Bertha was pushing it up the hill!
