He was born 1/1/1861 in Lawrence County, Alabama and died 8/29/1924 in Campo, Baca County, Colorado. Sarah was the son of Sarah Ann (Davis) and Jonathan Philip Stroud. She was born 6/9/1871 in Bowie, Montague County, Texas and died 11/17/1930. David and Sarah were parents of Ober, David Marvin, Iva, Verbal, Effie Elizabeth, Farris Alva and Uel.
