I am descended from Thomas Chaffe(1637 Hingham, MA)and have been researching for a number of years now. Also looking for any info on mother's side, Fowler & Morris. My gg grandmother was Rebecca Olivia Nidever, from Paris, Lamar County, TX and my gg grandfather, Walter Scott Chaffee, from Madison County, NY(his father was an active abolitionist with Garrett Smith of UGRR fame). On my mother's side, my gg grandfather was Joseph Morris, OH and Electa Stowell OH. They had four children in Lamar Co., TX and then moved to San Luis Obispo Co. 1853. I enjoy helping people who are related to me somehow to find their "roots". We are all related somehow to each other.
