John I. Tyree and Elsie Carr married on 19 March 1917 in the home of her parents near the Wesley Chapel Church in Marion Twp, Lawrence County, Indiana. They farmed, dealt in livestock, and eventually John became the county Sheriff. Afterwards, he and his brothers opened a gas station in Bedford and went on to establish the Lawrence County Beverage Co, Inc. of which John became the manager and president. ... show more

The man in this picture looks just like Isom Davis, whose mother was Nancy Tyree. There has to be a connection here.
