Flora Grace Town in 1875

Portrait of the infant Flora Grace Town, d/o Horace J. and Florella S. (Ward) Town of Arkwright in Chautauqua County, New York, taken in 1875. Flora Grace was born and raised on Horace and Florella's farm in lot 2 of Arwright. She married Otis John Martin and lived on Farrington Hollow road a mile or two north of where she grew up. They had one daughter, Velma F. Martin, who died in her teens. This photo is in the collection of Joyce Ehmke Coats, grand daughter of Flora Grace's brother Aaron Ward Town.
