Fred Cook and Charles Ray Cook
Fred "Bud" Cook and his brother, Charles Ray "Jinks" (or "Jinx") Cook in about the late 1930's or early 1940's in Hamilton, Ohio.
They were the sons of Lena Ethel Tribbey and Charles Cook. The 1920 census has Fred and Charles' surname as Henry and their father as Leroy Henry (Lena's first husband) but Leroy was not their father and Leroy wasn't actually in the home with them in 1920. Lena was suing Leroy for divorce in a 1915 newspaper. He deserted the family.
Update: May 20, 2018 DNA evidence proves that Fred was the son of Charles Cook. Fred's granddaughter's Ancestry DNA matched Ancestry DNA with other descendants of Charles Cook's maternal grandparents (Diver Family).
