Julia Alvira Knapp
This is my great grandmother. She was born in Bytown Canada West May 27, 1846. Daughter of Charles Butler Knapp and Mary Ann Blake Walker. She married Samuel Adee Squire. Their homestead was recorded in ND Vol 37 page 313 and is signed by president Theodore Roosevelt. She was a midwife for grandma and delivered my mother in Fortuna, ND Dec 23, 1917.
