Kate Harger, Ruffin Pratt, and Elsie Payne
This was probably taken in the creek that was near Elsie's home, which was at Moore's Mill. Elsie was the daughter of Dr. William Artemus and Grace Moore Payne. Grace's father had owned and operated the mill that was on the property. The place is now under water, being where Belews Creek Lake is now.
