La norteña; Los sucesos de la huelga
Sheet consists of two broadsides (número 2 on left and número 1 on right) of the penny press "Edición especial." Número 2 has a small masthead illustration of a man and woman sitting next to each other as well as an image of a well-dressed man. The text "The northern woman" conveys in verse the beauty of a woman from norther Mexico's eyes. In an accompanying text, "The bird seller," a man is reminded of love by a nightingale's song. Número 1 has a small masthead with scroll motif and the text, in verse, is titled "The outcome of the strike," and tells of 30 participants who are arrested by the police.
