La santisisma Virgen de Sn. Juan de los Lagos
Broadside shows the statue of Our Lady of San Juan de los Lagos on the recto. Two cherubs hold a scroll above her head that reads, translated from the Latin, "Immaculate mother pray for us." This image of Our Lady has her wearing a triangular dress with a crescent moon at her feet. On the verso, the accompanying text tells of a miracle performed on Andres Torres on February 8, 1907, how he became ill with typhoid in Mexico City. It then gives an account of the stages of his illness and his recuperation as a result of his wife's prayers to the Holy Virgin of San Juan de los Lagos. A prayer to Our Lady is printed on the verso.
