Lizzie McMahan
This photo was found in the home of Sallie Parton Austin. The lady in this picture is a cousin of Sallie's. If you have any info on this family please contact me.

According to the back of this picture, it was sent to Sallie Parton Austin from Lizzie McMahan. On the picture are the names of the children, Lela, Lula, and Claude. According to my research Lizzie was the daughter of Mary Parton and Riley McMahan. Lizzie married John S. McMahan. Their family lived in Jackson County, North Carolina in 1910. By 1920 John was not listed on cesus with Lizzie and her kids, who were by this time living in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
Date & Place: in Cotton Mill Village, Spartanburg, South Carolina United States

I am researching Ables, Bates, Boyd, Burgess, Lewis, Parton, Austin, Shomake, Webb, Derrick, Kennamer, Tipton, Sullenger, just to name a few. Most of my ancestors lived in Jackson and Madison Counties in Alabama. They traveled from North Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Georgia.
