Lucille Edna Nelson nee Robinson
High School Senior Graduation picture of Lucille Edna Robinson, daughter of Theodore Roosevelt Robinson of the Choctaw Nation and Edna Peden, both of Indian Territory, Oklahoma. Lucille, or 'Cille' as she was known to her close friends and relations was an incredibly bright student who took her Junior and Senior education in the same year and achieved straight 'A's. She won a place at Stanford University to study Nursing which she could not take because of her Fathers financial position and the war. Her Grandaughter recently achieved the distiction of Graduating from St. Johns College, Oxford University in the United Kingdom, sadly she did not live to know of this achievment. She spoke fluent French and later in life earned her teaching credentials. She married Lloyd B. Nelson on March 15, 1947 and her daughter married her English husband on the same date at St. Martins in the Fields Church in Trafalgar Square,London twenty-five years later to the day.
