Major Henry A Wells, Civil War
Major Henry Wells served with our ancestor, Dr. James Sykes. who was stationed at Keokuk IA, Chatanooge TN, Devalls Bluff AR, Ft. Dodge, Ft. Riley & Ft. Levenworth KS. also at Ft. Abraham Lincoln ND. (This may not be a complete listing of his service) He was discharged Mar 1868 in St. Louis. We have not been able to determine that Major Henry Wells is related to Dr. James Sykes.
