McBride B: 12-15-1839 D: 7-16-1907 (9th of 9/son of Alexander McBride - Mary Armstrong) Samuel enlisted in Co.F, 78th Regiment, Pa Volunteers and discharged as 1St Lt. 11-4-1864.
