This is little Tunney McKay of LeFors, Texas. His story is a tragic one:

On July 4th 1932, when Tunney was 6 years old, he and his two brothers Pharis and Dalton were swimming in an old oil tank that was filled with water. The boys had been forbidden to swim in the tank by their parents (Orville and Beulah MacKay) but, like many of us do as children, they didn't listen and as result Tunny drowned. His eldest brother, Pharis, carried the guilt of their rebellious act for the rest of his life.
