Mercy Ann (Thayer) (Rundell) Town
Photo of Mercy Ann (Thayer) (Rundell) Town of Arkwright, Chautauqua county, NY about 1875. Mercy Ann was daughter of Dexter and Emeline (Carr) Thayer, born about 1836 and died 1907. She married Bethuel Harvey Town about 1860 and lived the rest of her life on Bethuel's homestead on what is now Rt 83 in Arkwright. She is buried in Cowden Cemetery, a short distance east on Rt 83.
