My Mom, Leona Gaydon-Shetley

My Mom...This was before she married so she was a Gaydon at the time. She is the daughter of Spencer Lee Gaydon and Maude Gillespie Gaydon. She married Jerry Franklin Shetley in 1930 and raised 2 daughters, lost 2 children a son and a daughter. At this date she is still living. She is an amazing lady. She was born in Hall County GA, moved to Easley SC at age 8 or 9 and remained in SC until the depression years when they moved around following work. She met my Dad in Kings Mt NC and settled in Guilford County NC where she still lives. ... show more
