I am the first granddaughter of Chester Myron Hait and Nellie Porter Hait. Kenneth, Marion, Myron, Guy, and Frank (?) were my great uncles. I knew Kenneth and his wive Bollivar. My great grandmother Terry was living at the time of my birth in 1946. My father was Raymond Porter Hait, Sr.; My paternal aunt was Hilda Hait. I am delighted to be seeing pictures in which I believe to recognize my grandfather. I am happily and luckily married to Jack for 53 years and have one son, Chris. I am an avid volunteer for 3 Bluebirds Farm (www.3 bluebirdsfarm.org) and Second Chance Pet Adoptions (www.secondchancenc.org), both in Raleigh, NC. I am retired and continue to live in Raleigh.

These little girls all need names! Photo is from my Grandmother's collection. Surnames include Tong, Leach, Warran, and Ballinger. Family lived in Indiana and Ohio....Tongs also lived Long Beach California. Please help!

These little girls are so precious, I wish I knew who they were? This pic is from the album of Alvernia Estella Ballinger-Tong, who later passed it on to Viola Jenna Tong.
I have Two more shots of these same girls if you need to look some more, they are called: Little Darling, Pretty_Little_Four, and pretty_four_2. I believe the little girl on the left is shown in another picture with her parents; called Family_Picture. Back of that picture refers to her name or nickname being Al? Help!
My Mom, Leona Gaydon-Shetley
My Mom, Leona Gaydon-Shetley
My Mom...This was before she married so she was a Gaydon at the time. She is the daughter of Spencer Lee Gaydon and Maude Gillespie Gaydon. She married Jerry Franklin Shetley in 1930 and raised 2 daughters, lost 2 children a son and a daughter. At this date she is still living. She is an amazing lady. She was born in Hall County GA, moved to Easley SC at age 8 or 9 and remained in SC until the depression years when they moved around following work. She met my Dad in Kings Mt NC and settled in Guilford County NC where she still lives.
