This picture was found in my grandmother Pearl McGowan (nee Emery's photos). Pearl was the daughter of Frank Emery and Mary Askelson.

I think this is a picture of Askelson cousins. My Mother, Anna is the girl in the front row on the left. Charley Askelson is first on the left, back row. Louella Askelson , sister of Anna ..back row on the right with glasses on.
I will try find out more. Anna and Louella's parents were Nels and Esta (Emery) Askelson

That is Mons and Esta, not Nels

I think these are relatives of my Grandfather, John Askelson who grew up near Cresco, Iowa. He talked of Mons and Charley and Louella (Who I believe lived in Montana as a married woman.) They also had a sister in Canada. I believe her name was Mary. 1/9/07 sseask@yahoo.com
