Neil Preston
Neil Preston Wathen, stationed Great Lakes, Ill. Son Of Denver J. Wathen and
Daisy Marie Frasier. Born 2/18/1934 in Independence, Kansas. Grew up in Tulsa,
Oklahoma. Neil was a Refrigeration Service Engineer completing the OSU extention program in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. Neil has a wife Barbara, son Brian Neil, and daugher Rachel Ellen. There are 2 daughters from a previous marriage.
Neil died of related illnesses due to Lung Cancer on June, 29, 2007 in Lexington, Ok.. His Memorial was held at Lakeview Baptist Church in Norman, Ok. on July 8, with Chaplain Michael Bailey officiating. His memorial stone is at Sunset Memorial Park, 2301 E. Indian Hills Rd. Norman, Ok.
