The Rev. War soldier Nicholas Gibbs (b. 1733) family is another of my ancestral lines through son David Gibbs to Sarah Tillman, then Rachel Gibbs marriage to Ezekiel Folkner/ Faulkner documented in the 1977 book by the Nicholas Gibbs Historical Society. This homestead is no more than 2 miles from where Smith Major settled with his family in the same area of Knox Co. DCox-Halls Crossroads
