Picket signs in the Vietnam War
A picket sign that says "I'd rather save my a** than Johnson's face" President Johnson took a lot of heat for the Vietnam war although we began sending "advisors" there during Eisenhower's administration and while Nixon was elected in 1972 by promising to end the war, it didn't end until 1975 when we simply pulled out troups. Chaos ensued.
The picket signs were mostly homemade and a variety of slogans emerged.
