Private Miles Osborne Sherrill on left
Miles was a son of Hiram and Sarah Sherrill and a private in the 12th North Carolina Infantry Regiment. He was wounded at the Battle of Spotsylvania Court House, taken prisoner, and had his right leg amputated.
