James Ferdinand Robinson
James Ferdinand Robinson, on the right, was the son of William Marion Robinson and Margaret Sherrill. He was a private in the 12th North Carolina Infantry Regiment, Company A. He died at the Battle of Spotsylvania Court House.
Miles Osborne Sherrill was a private in the same regiment and company as James and was James uncle. Miles's parents were Hiram and Sarah Sherrill.
