Robert Land Hughson McAfee
Robert served in the Union forces in a company from Freeport Illinois during the later part of the Civil War. They fought at the battle of Vicksburg among others. He mustered out in late '65 or early '66. He became sick during his service and never really recovered dying in 1871 from "consumption".
