Searching for my dad
I´m searching again for my dad, named Fred B. Melville. He was living in Idaho Falls thirty years ago and was stationed in the sixties at the Air Base Bitburg/Germany. If he is alive, he must be have an age about 70. If you know the person I´m looking for or you are a relatives to him, I would be very glad if you contact me.

Fred B. Melville, 59, formerly of Idaho Falls, Idaho, father, brother and friend, died August 15, 1998, in St. George. Utah, from complications of cancer.

Born July 31, 1939, in Salt Lake City, Utah, son of Reid Shelley and Edna (Ted) Birmingham of Bountiful, Utah. Graduated from Bountiful High School in 1957, attended the University of Utah, and graduated in 1968 with a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering. Married in Salt Lake City, in the summer of 1967 to Joyce Butcher Benson. Served as a radar technician with the U.S. Army stationed in Germany from 1963 to 1965, then worked for Westinghouse at Lima, 0H, and recently the Naval Reactor Facility at Arco, ID, as a Maintenance Manager. He retired on August 1st and moved to St. George, UT.Survived by his children, Fred B. Melville, of Salt Lake City, UT; Judy (Mrs. Ted) Mount, of Glenrock, WY; Shauna Benson, Green River, WY; Brenda (Mrs. Don) Maiers, Idaho Falls, ID; Kelly Benson, Sacramento, CA; and Craig (Shannon) Benson, Sacramento, CA; a brother, Torn (Pauline) Melville, of Salt Lake City, UT; and 11 grandchildren. Preceded in death by his father and mother.
