Stanley's parents were George Cochran Jr., 1888-1976, and Mary Frances (Cummins) Cochran, 1892-1961. He had siblings Sue, Thelma, Amos, Frances, Harold, Jarold, Bertha, and Bettye. Stanley married Neva Virginia Conley, 1924-1984, on January 21, 1941 and they had 4 children: Gwendolyn Carole, William Daniel, Marcia Cheryl, and John Stanley Cochran. Scroll down to read his obituary which includes more information about his descendants, including a Great-great-grandchild! In the 1920 census, Stanley (going by George) was 3 and living with his parents and siblings Mellie, Thilma, Amos, and Fannie in Catoosa OK. Father George said he had a farm. In the 1930 census, he was listed as Native American, age 13, able to read and write, and living in Catoosa OK with his parents and Amos, Ruth, Harold, and Jarold and going by Stanley. Father George was a laborer in public works. In the 1940 census, Stanley was 23, listed now as "White" and Mom and Dad were listed as Native American. He was single, still living in Catoosa with his parents, had completed 4 years of high school, not working, and living with his parents and siblings Harold, Jarold, and Betty. Father George was again listed as a farmer.
